Curriculum
The teaching arc behind our volume and momentum lessons — what each block covers and how practice is paced.
This page is the spine of our teaching. Whether you join the Volume & Momentum Intensive, a weekend cohort, or shorter drills, the ideas appear in the same order.
Block 1 — Seeing participation
- Session and multi-day volume as a record of agreement
- Comparing a bar’s volume to a short lookback average
- Quiet ranges versus busy ranges — why both matter
Block 2 — Breakouts and dry-ups
- Price leaving a range with rising versus fading participation
- Volume dry-ups into known resistance or support
- False breaks: price prints, hands do not follow
Block 3 — Momentum in context
- What RSI and MACD summarise (and what they omit)
- Divergence when price makes a new extreme on thinner volume
- Using oscillators as a second opinion, not a starter pistol
Block 4 — Writing the thesis
- One paragraph: setup, volume evidence, momentum state, invalidation
- Peer review in the room
- Homework charts returned with instructor margin notes
How blocks map to lessons
| Lesson | Blocks emphasised |
|---|---|
| Volume & Momentum Intensive | All four, with deeper homework |
| Weekend cohort | Blocks 1–3, lighter thesis practice |
| Morning briefing drills | Fast versions of Blocks 1 and 3 |
| Private chart clinic | Blocks chosen from your own charts |
Materials you will handle
Annotated chart packs, a printed workbook for studio seats, and a shared glossary of volume and momentum terms we use consistently in class. We stay with classical charting language so you can take the method back to whatever platform you already use.
