Building a one-paragraph trade thesis

Many charts fail in the retelling. A student points at a candle and says “it looks strong.” We ask for a paragraph instead.

The four sentences

1. Setup — what structure are you reading (range break, pullback to node, failed swing)?
2. Volume evidence — what did participation do on the key bars?
3. Momentum state — what do your oscillators say relative to the prior swing?
4. Invalidation — which print ends the idea without debate?

Peer review in the room is blunt. If sentence two is empty, the group notices. Over a few weeks the paragraph becomes muscle memory — short enough for a morning drill, specific enough to survive a noisy open.
